Celebrating the achievements of our Year 7-10 Award Recipients and all our students on a successful year.
The Closing Service for Year 7-10, marked the culmination of an eventful academic year with heartfelt acknowledgments and celebrations of student achievements.
Academic Awards
Students were recognised for outstanding academic performance across all subjects. Top achievers in each grade level were honoured for their excellence in maintaining high academic standards. Pathways and VET awards were also presented to our Year 10 students.
Contribution Awards
These awards celebrated students who made significant contributions to the school community. Whether through leadership roles, active participation in extracurricular activities, or demonstrating exemplary school spirit, these students stood out as role models.
Commendation Awards
Commendations awards were given to students who demonstrated exceptional effort, perseverance, and personal growth throughout the year. These awards underscored the importance of dedication and hard work in achieving success and a positive growth mindset.
Significant awards
The ceremony acknowledged 3 significant awards.
The Muriel Matters Award is given to a student who shows self-initiative, determination to make a difference, and a commitment to making the world a better place for all.
The ADF Future Innovators Award is awarded to a student who has demonstrated motivation and innovation in STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Maths), and who has displayed strong personal ethical values, such as doing one’s best.
The ADF Long Tan Youth Leadership and Teamwork Award is awarded to a student who has demonstrated leadership and teamwork within their school and the broader community and who displays strong personal ethical values, such as doing one’s best, respecting others, and “mateship”.
To all of our students, I thank you for your hard work and determination to improve.
